Who we are
We are the descendants of William "Bocto" Cureton, of Greenville County South Carolina and our Matriarchs - Sarah Anna York and Eliza Cureton (both from Virginia). We are now the sixth, seventh, eighth, and even ninth generation removed from those ancestors.
We remain committed to the vision first started by Mrs. Eve Griffin, in 1980, and then furthered by Mrs. Felicia Byrd: a biannual gathering of family. An opportunity to meet those who live far away, and those we have never met. A chance to renew old friendships and celebrate family bonds.
The reunion is now called the Cureton-Garrett-Hill-Sizer Reunion to acknowledge our common ancestors and our connection to the children of William "Bocto" Cureton.
